Terms of Service

StatementEdge converts PDF bank statements into structured data (CSV, Excel, QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, OFX). You upload a PDF, we run it through an automated pipeline (PDF parsing + AI extraction + balance reconciliation), and you receive the extracted data. The service is provided as-is; we don't guarantee 100% accuracy on every layout.

You may use the service anonymously (no signup, 7 pages per day) or with a registered account. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. We use Supabase Auth for sign-in; account-level security is governed by their security model in addition to ours.

You agree NOT to use StatementEdge to:

• process documents you don't have lawful authority over;
• reverse-engineer or scrape our service, abuse our rate limits, or attempt to circumvent quotas;
• process documents containing materially illegal content;
• resell the service or rebrand it as your own without a separate written agreement.

Paid plans (Starter, Pro, Business) bill monthly in EUR via Stripe. Unused pages roll forward up to three months from the month of purchase. You may cancel at any time from the billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and we don't pro-rate refunds for partial months. Failed payments will pause your subscription until the payment method is updated.

See our Privacy Policy for the full breakdown. Source PDFs are auto-deleted from our storage within one hour of a successful conversion. Extracted data (transactions, statement metadata) is retained on your account until you delete it. We do not train any model on your uploaded documents.

The Free, Starter, and Pro plans are offered on a best-effort basis with no uptime guarantee. Business and Enterprise customers can request an SLA in writing. Scheduled maintenance windows will be announced in advance where reasonably possible.

StatementEdge is a data-extraction tool, not a substitute for professional accounting, financial, or legal advice. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that present a security or abuse risk. You may close your account at any time by contacting us — at which point we will delete your stored data within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal or billing purposes.

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email (to registered users) or by a notice on the site. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
